Journal of Health Management (JMK) is a six-monthly scientific publication published by STIKES Yayasan RS Dr. Soetomo Surabaya in the period of April and October. Editors accept original manuscripts that have never been published, with an academic and effective language style in the form of research results that are beneficial for the advancement of science and technology, especially in the field of health management.
Manuscript is in standard form (MS Word) and written in scientific language style, has no more than 12 pages, writing size Times New Roman 12 font, 1 column except abstract and large table, 1.5 spaces and margin size 4 cm Left, 4 cm Top,3 cm Bottom ,3 cm Right in A4 paper size. The published manuscripts become the property of the editor and it can’t be published in any form without the approval of the editor. Manuscripts are arranged according to a standard format consisting of: Manuscript Title, Author Name, Indonesian and English Abstract, Background, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions as well as a bibliography cited using Mendeley, not less than a minimum of 12 pages with A4 paper size (210 x 297mm).
1) Manuscript Title
The title is written clearly and briefly in Indonesian which describes the main content/variable, maximum 12 words.
2) Author Name
It includes the full name of the main author without title and the member (if any), name of institution, author's email, street address (city/district).
3) Abstract
Abstract must summarize all the contents in the article and must consist of a minimum 150 words and no more than 250 words. Abstracts must follow the IMRAD format; Introduction, Methods, Results, Analysis, Discussion, and added with Conclusion. Abstracts may not use illustrations and tables. Avoid using ambiguous terms or abbreviations. Abstract must have at least one keyword and be written in one paragraph.
4) Introduction
It contains information systematically/sequentially about: research problems, problem scale, problem chronology, and theoretical concepts and solutions presented in a concise and clear manner.
5) Method
Contains: type of research, design, sampling technique and number of samples, characteristics of respondents, time, place of research, instruments used, as well as statistical analysis tests presented clearly (if needed).
6) Results and Discussion
Research results should be presented on an ongoing basis starting from the main research results to the supporting results and completed with discussion. The names of tables, diagrams, pictures, schemes, contents and their descriptions are written in Indonesian and numbered according to the order in which the text is mentioned. The units of measurement used in the text should follow the applicable international system.
7) Conclusion
The conclusions of the research results are stated clearly. Suggestions are listed after the conclusions, presented theoretically and practically to be used directly by the community.
8) Bibliography
The sources of literature cited include: scientific journal references of the last 10 years at least around 80%, textbooks, theses, dissertations, and other library sources that must be included in the bibliography. The resulting references must be cited in the article. The sources of literature are arranged in an APA model based on alphabetical order as the following: surname, year of publication of the library, title of library, edition (if any), city of publisher, and name of publisher. The minimum number of references is 15 references. Articles that have been published in the Journal of Health Management are recommended to be used as references. To maintain the consistency in the way of referring, citing and writing bibliography, it is required to use the standard reference applications such as Endnote and Mendeley.
The editor has the right to fix the manuscript without changing the contents of the manuscript. All data opinions or statements contained in the manuscript are the responsibility of the author. Unsuitable manuscripts will be returned.
